Its long, hollow shaft provides reach into confined areas while keeping the loop and hand-operated control accessible to the diver.

Locking control

The mode selector allows the snare to operate with or without the locking function. In Lock On mode, the tightened loop remains secured until the thumb release is pressed. In Lock Off mode, the loop remains under manual control without engaging the lock, allowing the diver to choose how loop tension is managed during a catch.

Construction and service

The hollow shaft reduces underwater weight while retaining the rigidity needed to guide the snare into confined structure. Its modular assembly is designed for maintenance, allowing serviceable components to be addressed individually rather than requiring replacement of the complete snare.

Loop behavior

Loop construction varies with the selected configuration and changes how the snare presents around the catch. The stainless steel cable loop is the more flexible option, while square monofilament holds a formed shape and can be heated and reshaped if its form becomes compressed or distorted.

Care

After saltwater use, rinse the snare thoroughly with fresh water and operate the control to help clear trapped salt or debris. Allow it to dry before storage, and inspect the loop, fasteners, release control, and moving components before use.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0734/7394/9888/files/b5a74b48-6871-4f73-8288-688528183419.webp?v=1788233289
