It is used to replace the working band while retaining the attachment format required by the polespear's roller system.

Resistance and loading

Band resistance changes with inside diameter because the outside diameter remains constant across the family. A smaller inside diameter leaves more rubber in the band for stronger resistance, while a larger inside diameter reduces loading effort with slightly less power. This allows resistance to be changed without altering the basic roller-band design.

Fit and replacement

The band also supports the 9.5 ft configuration created with the injector rod. The original stock setup uses the 30 in band with a 1/8 in inside diameter, so that configuration should be matched when restoring the original loading characteristics. Other configurations can be selected when a different resistance is desired, but the required installed length and roller setup should be confirmed before replacement.

Each band uses 800 lb Dyneema loops at both ends to connect it to the polespear roller system. This replacement is intended for the Pierce Roller Polespear rather than the conventional Pierce configuration.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0734/7394/9888/files/f05c1b0c-8d7a-4f38-bc72-47ccc8731a2f.webp?v=1788232913
